The Foundation for Jonesboro Public Schools will have the Stormy Night Tailgate in front of the performing arts center facing Main with food/entertainment. BUY A BRICK IN HONOR OR MEMORY OF YOUR CLASS OR CLASSMATE and support the Foundation for Jonesboro Public Schools! The Foundation gives out grants to JPS teachers with the money raised. Go here for more information.
JHS TOURS – Please email the executive principal at JHS, Dr. Brad Faught, to set up high school tours for your reunion. Email brad.faught@jonesboroschools.net or call 870.933.5881 to set up an appointment with him through Ms. Nichole Smith.
REUNION TAILGATE PARTIES – Please set up tents between Main Street and College. You may set the tent up Thursday night prior to Friday’s game, but that is at your own risk. My suggestions are that you set up Friday afternoon. School dismisses at 2:50.
PARKING – Due to new construction, please contact the high school for parking info: 870-933-5881. Local businesses have been very gracious in allowing us to use some of their parking as long as we park away from the spots that would be very busy during this time. I.e. Restaurants
TICKETS – Ticket price is $5.00 per person. Advanced tickets are on sale in the High School Principal’s office the week of Homecoming. It is my suggestion that you purchase your tickets early, even if you purchase them the day of the game. Ticket Gates will open at 5:30. Avoid long lines!
BALL GAME SEATING – If your group would like to sit together during the game, you can hang a banner or mark a section in the bleachers. We ask that you use the NE corner of the home bleachers. This is the end opposite the scoreboard.
PA ANNOUNCEMENT – We will be glad to make a PA Announcement during the game. Example: Jonesboro High School is proud to welcome back the Class of 1982 celebrating their 30 year reunion. Please keep it very brief and submit that to Trey Harding, Athletic Director, by the Monday before the game. His email: trey.harding@jonesboroschools.net or call 870.933.5800.
